I’m Mikala, the designer and maker behind Rustic Woodcraft. I create furniture and interior objects from beautiful timeworn wood, giving reclaimed materials a new life.

Every piece is designed and built by hand in my workshop in Dubai, with focus on natural materials, craftsmanship and character.

For Heenat Salma Farm in Qatar, I designed and built more than 400 pieces of furniture and objects for the eco-hospitality project, from larger furniture to smaller functional pieces. Each was made specifically for the farm and its unique surroundings.
